Convenient way to brew tea per cup. Open hinge mesh ball, fill 1/2 with tea, close. Add boiling water to cup covering mesh tea spoon. Steep 3-5 minutes. Stainless steel and the ball measures 1 1/2". Brew and stir with one utensil.
