A complete capsule setup starts with four decisions: the amount of powder you want in each capsule, the capsule size that can hold it, the number of capsules you plan to make, and the filling machine capacity that fits that workload. Capsule size is based on volume, so the same shell can hold different weights of different powders.
The Original CAPSULE-IT fills 100 capsules per batch and is available for sizes 000, 00, 0, and 1. The Pro Series 400 fills 400 capsules per batch and is available for sizes 00 and 0.
The builder estimates capsule capacity by multiplying capsule volume by the selected powder-density range. It then compares your monthly quantity with the 100-capsule and 400-capsule machines, while checking that the recommended machine is offered in the required capsule size.
The powder total includes an 8% handling allowance for material that may remain on tools or working surfaces. Treat every result as a planning estimate and verify actual fill weight with a scale before preparing a full batch.
