Soothing Indigestion Tea
Are you constantly bloated or gassy?
This tea alleviates those after dinner effects like bloating, gas, acidic or just plain unsettled tummy feelings. It encourages the body to better assimilate food, regulate the bowels and improve the pH balance or over-acidic system.
1 tsp chamomile flowers
1tsp fennel seeds
1tsp marshmallow root
½ tsp of licorice root
Place herbs in a tea infuser or a paper teabag. Add to a small pot or large 16 ounce cup, add hot water and let it steep or infuse for about 5 minutes. Remove herbs and pour a cup.
To sweeten it a bit you can add honey or stevia if desired.
Makes 2 cups. You can drink 2-3 times a day as needed.
