How to Make Herbal Infusions

One of the easiest and most popular ways to get the most out of herbs is to make them into infusions. Infusions are similar to teas, except they are steeped a bit longer (but not as long as decoctions are steeped). Infusions can be done with just about any herb, and since the process is so simple and quick, it can be done as often as you need to without much effort.  Infusions are a great way to get the most of your herbs from Herb Affair. If you haven’t tried it yet, what are you waiting for? Follow these easy instructions and you’ll love the results.

Ingredients to Prepare Herbal Infusions

2 teaspoons herbs – dried
1 cup of water

Infusion Recipe

Bring the water to a boil. Then, turn off the heat and add the herbs. Cover the pot, and let the herbs steep for about ten minutes, then strain the mixture. You can drink the concoction now. Drinking herbal infusions should be done in cup-sized doses, three times a day. You can make it one cup at a time, or brew a larger portion and save the rest. To store, cover the mixture and store it in a cool place, but use it within one day.
